Structure
The navigation of your website should be such that your audience can follow easily without getting lost in the pages by jumping one link to another. The best way to organize structure is to sketch it manually or using a flow charting tool. It is better to define the overall navigational structure early and keep developing the pages preventing last minute surprises. If the site is big, organize the content into categories 3 levels or less so that users are able better understand which area they are interested in and navigation helps them to visit the pages they want to see and don't get lost into other pages and are unable to track the back route. Also, conduct a usability testing on the structure and navigation links which you think best fits for your situation and website.
