Application Development
Application Development process is almost similar to software development. A piece of software program can be developed to perform a specific function such as Financial Accounting wherein software is able to meet all identified needs of the user for financial accounting. Whereas Application Development can have more than one specific function integrated together as an Application for example General Ledger, Receivable, Payables, Sales, Invocing, Payroll, HR, Production Planning, Order Management, Vendors, Suppliers, MIS and other functions are clubbed together as Software Modules in a Application bundle.
