Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs)
While users want to search some information on the Internet, they enter their query in the search bar of search engines and in return they get search engine results pages (SERPs). Usually, search engines show results page with a title, link to the website page, and a brief description with the keywords highlighted. Search engines take time to crawl and index pages, so if you follow the links it is likely that the page you visit might have changed during this time. SERPs of major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Live may include in the top or side or at the bottom, contextual, algorithmic or organic search listings results as well as sponsored ads. Search Engines may also offer different types of searches, such as image, news, and products search and pay per click (PPC) advertisements.
