META Tags elements are coded in HTML file that helps provide structured METAdata about the Web page. META Tags elements are placed as tags in the head section of an HTML file . META Tags elements can be such as description, Keywords amoung others. Many of the Search Engines consider META Tags and some may ignore these. META Tags have been important elements for performing search engine optimization (SEO) for the website pages. Though META Tags may be important in search engine optimization process but other factors must also be considered, including but not limited to, incoming links from related websites, quality of Content, source code, spellings, broken links, user features, unique content, redundancy, relevance, and other characterstics. META Tags are carefully analyzed during Search Engine Optimization process and necessary modifications are done in the web pages.
